Ars poetica
Munkáimban törekszem az építészeti rendre és racionalitásra, a szobrászati empátiára és spontaneitásra. Keresem az egyetemes fent-lent, kicsi-nagy, széles-keskeny, sima-borzolt, tér és tömeg plasztikai téziseit. Kutatom a határorzott formákat és az empirikus tereket. Foglalkoztat a realitás elvonatkoztatása és absztrahálása, valamint a konceptuális gondolatok figuratív megfogalmazása. Fontos számomra az ünnepélyesség atmoszférája és az ebből fakadó misztérium jeleinek felkutatása. Emellett a profán valóság, őszinte, anyagban való megnyilvánulásait is szem előtt tartom, amely gyakran markáns módon meghatározza munkáim jellegét. Igyekszem a sommás plasztikai nyelvezetre, anyaghasználatomat leginkább a fa, kő és bronz használata jellemzi, de nem zárom ki a jó minőségű és esztétikus modern anyagokat sem. Legkedvesebb anyagom a fa, amely életterem hely specifikus, gyakran használt elemeként magyarázható. Erős vonzalmat érzek a fehér felületek iránt, egy makulátlan állapot, utópisztikus, egyetemes tisztaságának vizuális képződményének tartom, amely a bázist jelenti számomra. Kutatom a geometrikus és organikus formarendszerek harmonikus ötvözését, inspirálnak a hagyományos népi építészet ácstechnikai megoldásai, és az ebből származó archaikus gesztusok. Egy adott gondolati tartalom esztétikus formába való megragadása, sok esetben, plasztikai eredményként az egyszerű, tiszta formák, őszinte valóságát eredményezi.

In my works I aspire towards architectural order and artistic rationality combined with sculptural empathy and spontaneity. I am always analizing the duality between up-down, small-large, wide-narrow, textured-smoot in the context of plastic thesises. I study the correlation between harsh forms and empirical spaces. I am very much intrigued by the abstractization of reality, the figurative reprezentation of conceptual ideas. It is also important for me to reprezent signs that are sacred, misterious, and this all is also merged with the profane, the honest aspects of life. These all define my works to the core. The artistic language that I use is simple, sinthetizing. I mainly use traditional materials like wood, stone, bronze, but I don't mind using contemporary materials also, if it is of a high quality. I feel a large atraction towards white surfaces, that represents the immaculate, utopistic state, universal pureness. For me white is the visual representation of the above mentioned. I also research the harmonious combinations of geometric and organic forms, I am much inspired by traditional folk architecture, wood crafting techniques, that are authentic archaic gestures. Most of the time the capturing of a thought in an aesthetic form, in most of the cases, results in creating a simplified, pure form.
